Popular Wii games change all the time; after all, it is based on what YOU think, of the games you've been playing lately. Best selling Wii games are also manipulated by retailers sometimes in order to sell more high priced games; not because they are the most awesome games, but because they happen to be the most expensive. Instead of relying on what the department stores, try actually reading what the gamers have to say!
Super Mario Galaxy - Ever wondered how Mario would function in outer space? Apparently a lot of people have! That's why so many people are crazy about Super Mario Galaxy. Currently, as of June 10th, it's the most popular Wii game out there. Pick it up and see what all the fuss is about.
Super Smash Bros. Brawl - Back in another list, I reviewed this game before. There have been a few other Smash Bros. games in the past, and this one is by far the most popular. The second Smash Bros. game to come out is still being widely played today, and a couple Smash Bros. games are actually on the list of the most popular video games of all time! In this game, you get to battle to the finish
with all the archnemesis bad guys, heros, and heroines of Nintendo games of the past, and present.
Okami - Okami has also been on our most popular list before as well. It's also available for PS2. You get to be sun goddess in this game, who happens to be in the form of a white wolf. Doing good deeds will get you more worshippers, (if that isn't an ego stroking for feminists everywhere, I don't know what is) which restores health, and strength.
Boom Blox - Mostly a family game, for kids. You can play on several different themes, including a haunted house style level, which is probably the game's biggest asset, depending on whether or not you were ever a huge fan of Kirby's Avalanche for Super Nintendo.
Blast Works - I can honestly say I have no idea why this game is popular. It involves driving a space ship around, all over the world, and smashing other ships. Then you absorb the poor dead ship's parts in order to make your ship more efficient. It sounds like something that would probably be a lot of fun for younger children. My guess is, it's probably on the most popular list because parents are buying it for their kids because the box looks good, and it's rated E.
